We've had two more visits since our last update and there's big things to share!
The day after my visit with the PA at my Ob's office my bleeding has stopped! YAY! We know it can start again at any time but after 19 days of bleeding we are taking anything we can get! As I mentioned last time, they did a manual cervix/uterus exam and I'm not sure what she did, maybe nothing, but it worked. The coincidence in timing is uncanny but I am grateful for it. It has allowed me to take a real breath for the first time in a while.
Luckily a few days ago we had another visit to check in with my OB and everything seems great. Dr says baby boy is healthy and has a strong heartbeat of 150 as usual. He seemed huge and barely fit on the ultrasound screen. When we first walked in I noticed the doppler was there instead of the US machine and I asked the nurse if we would get to see him again or if it would just be the doppler. She said she would try to find a machine for us, always grateful for them. When the Dr came in he said "I was hoping to wean you off the US" which I thought was silly because what pregnant lady doesn't want to see their baby every chance they get??

We started with the doppler and it was interesting. We have a doppler at home but have not been successful in finding his heartbeat. Naturally, baby was being difficult for the Dr as well but we did eventually find him. Shortly after the nurse came in with the Us machine and we got to see him again. his bones are much more prominent on the images and he is definitely getting bigger. We got pics of the images as best we could but it was the best to get a little video of his heartbeat.
We have our anatomy scan coming up in about 2.5 weeks. We will find out how he's developing then. I'm a little nervous about it, as I'm sure most women would be, but were hopeful he is going to be just fine and all will be well. Do you have any information for us regarding the anatomy scan? what should we expect? how long does it take? anything to know beforehand?

Thanks for being here on this ride. Until next time MAMAs... warmly, Meg.
